Mediation in the workplace is a structured and confidential process. It helps my clients and their teams to resolve conflicts in a joint and responsible fashion.
As a mediator, I am on my clients' side, without preference for any one person. It is my job to create the safe space for all parties involved to be heard, to be understood, and to look for solutions.
The aim is to help people from all professional groups to create a working atmosphere that is cooperative, productive and low in conflicts.
Depending on your individual situation, I will adapt my strategy. Whether you need a classic mediation or rather a moderated conversation, whether your team will best respond to a workshop format or not - I will adjust the setting of our interaction to what works best for you in the process. Either in presence or virtually.
I am a biologist by training, and since 2013 have built a career in academic staff development. I am certified as a trained mediator and as a coach for competence analyses.
I gained my professional experience at international research institutions (e.g., Karolinska Institute Sweden, INRA France, Max Planck Society, Helmholtz Association) and universities. Currently, I hold a leadership position at a German university.
Together with colleagues from the Federal Association for Mediation, I serve at the national Conflict Hotline. You can reach this free-of-charge support line at 0800 - 247 36 76 from 08:00 am to 08:00 pm every day.
